CLANAVEN BALDONADO, who is a Young Artist Award winner (2015/2016) for the Society of the Preservation of the Great American Songbook, is a Filipino-American who was born in Palm Beach County.  She grew up in a home filled with joy, family and the melodies of the Great American Songbook.

Clanaven studied with various vocal instructors beginning at the age of 9, and eventually drifted into The Legends Radio 100.3 Morning Lounge hosts Rich and Jill Switzer's mentorship. With their help, she wrote and recorded her first original song at age 16. Jill Switzer who was also her vocal coach for almost five years, along with Jill's husband Rich, continues to mentor and inspire Clanaven.

Artists she has performed with include Jack Jones, Anne Hampton Calloway and more. Clanaven has also attended multiple master classes with the queen of cabaret Marilyn Maye.  Clanaven continues to sing professionally at various assisted living facilities, private parties, her local church and different Palm Beach events.
