RICH SWITZER is a gifted multi-instrumentalist/composer, entertaining audiences in South Florida for the past thirty-two years, is co-host of “The Morning Lounge with Jill and Rich” on Legends 100.3 FM WLML, and an honorary board member of The Society for the Preservation of the Great American Songbook. He has worked on stage and in the recording studio with Mary Wilson of The Supremes, The Four Freshmen, Avery Sommers, Nicolas King, Ann Hampton Callaway and Faith Prince.

His four CDs of original piano instrumentals have made a significant mark on the New Age/AC market, beginning with Rich's debut release, Quiet Storm, which was picked up by national distributor DeVorss and Company and was also sold through live performances. Rich's sophomore project, Soulmate, was equally successful and caught the attention of veteran producer Charlie Callello. Mr. Callello gave Rich total creative control of an ambient/mood music project for JC Penney. The result was two CDs, Meditation and Stress Relief, which were sold in department stores across the country.

For the past six years, Rich and his wife Jill have focused their volunteer mentoring with the non-profit Society for the Preservation of the Great American Songbook. Every year, a student demonstrating musical talent, strong work ethic, and community/school involvement is given “The Young Artist Award” from The Society.

“Jill and Rich Switzer are jazz royalty in Palm Beach County.” --Bill Meredith, the Palm Beach Post. “If nominations for the first couple of Palm Beach County music were held, vocalist Jill Switzer and multi-instrumentalist Rich Switzer would be near the top of the list of candidates,” according to a recent issue of Florida Weekly.
